Full Day Toddler/Preschool / 4k

Year-Round ( September begins each new school year)

Caterpillar Class

7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Monday - Friday (Choose 2 - 5 days)
Age 2 and younger 3 year olds
Children do not need to be toilet trained.

12 children children / 2 teachers

A pre-school class where younger children become familiar with and feel comfortable in a school setting. The classroom environment is designed for learning through play. Each day is spent fostering the growth of the individual child as they learn and grow together. Children will engage in activities that build self-confidence and self-help skills. Teachers provide various opportunities for physical, emotional, social, creative and cognitive growth. On various days, the class will use the gym. Children will have the opportunity to experience the playground both morning and afternoon. Children bring their own lunch and drink. State licensing requires a scheduled nap period mid-day; child size sleeping bags are required.

Summer includes opportunities to bring daily learning activities outdoors. Children will experience picnics on the deck, gardening, and water play in swimsuits.

16 - 22 children / 2 teachers and 2 assistant teachers

A full day pre-school class that supports individual development for a mixed-age group with a focus on kindergarten readiness. The classroom is designed with learning materials appropriate for varying ages and levels of development. The teachers add new materials to the class that incorporate the interests of children as they grow. Children learn through play in large groups, small groups and independently with a balance of teacher-initiated and child-initiated activities. Children bring their own lunch and drink. State licensing requires a scheduled nap period mid-day for younger children during which older children will rest quietly; child size sleeping bags are required. On various days, the class will use the gym. Children will have the opportunity to experience the playground both morning and afternoon.
